The everyday life of Ancient Greek

The men of Ancient Greek trained in the military, discussed politics and went to the theatre as a source of entertainment. Greek boys played games like hockey it was not part of the Olympic games. They played games that didn't involve much physical activity such as marbles, dice, checkers, and a game called knuckle bones. The women did mostly house related work such as spinning, weaving, and other house duties. Since they were not allow to take place in thing like theatre, poli

ties and other things the men of the society did. Majority of the Greeks made a living on farming. Some citizens had land outside the city to get them more income. Farmers grew grapes and picked them around September. The grapes are kept to eat or made into wine. Farmers also grew

olives. Which was picked by hand or knocked out of trees. They were used to eat or to make Olive oil. In Greek time it was a criminal offence to uproot a Olive tree.
